Biden administration`s biased approach led to deterioration of Washington-Baku relations
In an interview with China's CGTN (China Global Television Network), President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev shared his views on many points and spoke about the perspective of our country's relations with Washington in the context of government change in the United States.
Speaking about U.S.-Azerbaijan relations, the head of state said that in contrast to the complete deterioration of our relations because of Biden administration's unfair approach to Azerbaijan in the last 4 years, our relations have developed very successfully during Trump's previous administration in the United States.
Unfortunately, during Biden's reign, the ruling circles of the United States took the wrong position in relation to Azerbaijan. They did not appreciate the realities, and also violated all the norms and principles of international law and demonstrated that they were on the side of the aggressor Armenia.
The last 4 years caused the deterioration of our relations as a result of Biden administration's unfair approach to Azerbaijan. However, it developed very successfully during the development period of Trump before that.
