Zelenskyy accuses US envoy Steve Witkoff of `spreading Russian narratives`

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday accused the US peace envoy Steve Witkoff of “spreading Russian narratives” while talking to reporters, Americandiary24 reports citing First Post.
“I believe that Mr Witkoff has taken on the strategy of the Russian side. I think it is very dangerous, because he is consciously or unconsciously, I don’t know, spreading Russian narratives,” Zelenskyy said, after Witkoff suggested that a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine depended on the status of territories currently occupied by Russian forces.
“This peace deal is about these so-called five territories,” Witkoff said in comments for Fox News earlier this week. “But there’s so much more to it. I think we might be on the verge of something that would be very important for the world at large.”
