Vinicius Junior is reportedly considering his Real Madrid future amid an 'unrefusable' €1 billion offer from the Saudi Pro League, AmericanDiary24 informs via Goal.
According to Marca, Vinicius Jr personally met with Saudi league representatives to listen to their vision for the division and their offer to him in 2023. Another meeting led to the sum of €1 billion (£832.2 million) being put forward for the Brazilian's services over five seasons, with the report saying his entourage saw this as 'an unprecedented and irresistible' proposal. And 18 months on from that initial contact, the move is still a possibility.
This comes despite the 24-year-old saying he wants to stay at Madrid for "longer" and hopes that negotiations will be "resolved" in the next few days. The report adds that Vinicius Jr's 'biggest concern' is the strength of the Saudi league and that money isn't his only motivator.
In the early negotiations, the Saudi chiefs reportedly tried to tempt Vinicius Jr - whose contract runs until 2027 - with the idea of being an 'ambassador' for the World Cup that will take place in 2034.
The report adds that Vinicius Jr has not made a firm decision about his future but the Saudi Pro League want him to leave Madrid for them this coming summer.
