Kellogg: Ukraine will not join NATO, this issue is not under discussion

"Our views are absolutely clear. Ukraine's membership in NATO is not on the agenda," US President's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg said on the air of FOX News channel, Americandiary24 reports.

He said that his country's position on this issue is not new: "As early as 2008, our Ambassador to Russia, William Burns, explained to then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that Ukraine's membership in NATO was an unattainable goal."

Recall that some time ago, US President Donald Trump, contrary to the wishes of his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, declared that this country would not become a member of NATO.
